Ausrack Plus Network is designed to accommodate medium to large passive patching networks and active communications equipment. By the use of cable zones and cable management systems, tailored, structured cable management solutions can be incorporated to suit any network application. Designed for data centre applications and can easily be bayed to other cabinets or racks.

A front perspex and rear steel door are included however there are many door and side panel options which can be included by designing your solution from an Ausrack Plus Frame.

The managed SCALANCE X-200RNA Industrial Ethernet network access points with PRP functionality (Parallel Redundancy Protocol) or HSR functionality (High Availability Seamless Redundancy Protocol) according to IEC 62439-3 provide redundant network structures.

SCALANCE XF-200BA DNA (Y-Switch)

PROFINET for process automation

The industrial Ethernet switch SCALANCE XF204-2BA DNA (Dual Network Access) enables integration of S2 devices in a high-availability PROFINET system (R1 system) via what is termed as Y-Switch functionality.

  • Two ports of the Y-Switch enable the connection of S2 devices using the media redundancy method, MRP. This can be implemented selectively via copper or fiber optic in a ring structure.
  • The two other ports establish the network connection from the Y-Switch to a high-availability R1 system.

Y-switch functionality additionally increases the availability of a process plant and helps avoid plant standstills.

The BA 2xRJ45VD HA BusAdapter is capable of both standard Ethernet communication via 4-wire cables (twisted pair) and data transfer via 2-wire cables (single twisted pair). This means existing PROFIBUS DP infrastructures can continue to be used, thereby avoiding costly retrofitting at the field level in particular.

The SCALANCE XC-200 Industrial Ethernet switches offer many functions: Virtual LANs (VLAN), redundancy mechanisms and optional complete PROFINET or Ethernet/IP diagnostics in one device.

Using the Fast Ethernet and Gigabit versions, powerful, reliable Industrial Ethernet networks can be established, and electrical and optical topologies likewise. Description

Operated as antennas from SCALANCE W access points, the RCoax radiating cables provide reliable radio links. The coaxial cable is rugged, easy to install and suitable for use in areas susceptible to explosions (Zone 2) without special approvals. Two versions are available for applications in Industrial Wireless LAN sector with the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands. They are connected to the SCALANCE W access points as external antennas. Mobile stations are connected via SCALANCE W client modules.

Details

The radiating cables are laid alongside the traversing path of the mobile stations, for example, in the rail of an overhead monorail conductor. Due to its special radiation characteristic, it is an antenna that can be laid as a cable.
